A Bright and Happy 1st Birthday Party
For weeks I thought of what sort of theme I would do for my Rosie's Birthday. I went back and forth between a few but I kept coming back to the fact that, first of all she's one and didn't need a theme, I know I know, but Second, Rosie has always just been our happy girl that brightens anyone's day that sees her. Since day one she's been making people smile. So I went with it.
With a few weeks till the party I checked Instagram and Pinterest for inspiration, I definitely found amazing ideas but then I just got super overwhelmed, down on my own creativity and called the party off, sulked for a minute and quit. I got swallowed up with work and life that it wasn't until a couple of days before her birthday that I thought of the party again. With the push from my mom and sister WE decided to throw her a simple little party and just invite our family and a few of our close friends. But we have a hard time keeping anything small, so a big party it became. (Yes, we drive our husbands nuts.)
Alright alright I will quit chatting, I will just unload all the photo goodness her with little blips mixed in! But I just wanted you to know that no matter what these photos look like, There was a lot of self doubt, craziness and disorganization. Don't miss the sweetest video at the end done by my sweet friend Kallie of KC Film and Photo.
